Speck Products BLUT-BLK-CPOD Universal Bluetooth Headset ClipPod Case

Universal Bluetooth ClipPod
Customer Review: It works.
This pouch works very well. My Plantronics Voyager 520 stays inside the pouch and is also easy to remove. Not too tight, not too loose.

Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset [Retail Packaged]

For the ultimate in wireless freedom, look no further than the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset, which represents a generational leap in Bluetooth headset technology. It's comfortable and light enough for all day wear, and it offers unprecedented clarity and sound quality. These are great features, but the real revolution involves Plantronics' exclusive Multipoint technology, which allows the headset to function as a powerful communication solution for up to two Bluetooth devices.

With Multipoint technology you can switch between your voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phone, PDA or laptop. The headset's "smart" technology knows which device you are using and allows you to take calls from any device at the touch of a button. With the optional Plantronics Bluetooth Deskphone Adapter you can even switch between your office phone and your Bluetooth mobile phone. You'll never need to use a dedicated "landline" phone headset again.

The 510 features WindSmart technology, which enhances call clarity in windy environments (i.e., car with window/roof open, air conditioning on, outside with breeze), and it folds for easy storage. The boom also swivels for perfect positioning on either ear. One-touch call control buttons are placed for easy access, and you can easily redial the last number dialed and initiate voice-activated calls from the headset. Because the 510 is Bluetooth-enabled (it supports the Bluetooth 1.2 specification) you can roam up to 33 feet from your Bluetooth device. Meanwhile, the 510 supports adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) which helps avoid interference from Wi-Fi networks. Ample talk time is provided by the built-in rechargeable battery; you'll get up to 6 hours talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time.

Customer Review: Great for Truck Drivers
I have tested almost every bluetooth headset out there ranging from $200 down to $30 and this one is the best. It's the loudest in the ear when turned up so you can hear clearly. People that talk to you can hear you clearly. Even when there is wind and background noise, somehow all they hear is your voice. Even though it may look bulky and uncomfortable, it's actually the opposite. I put it on and forgot I was wearing it at the end of the day. Very light. This product is definitely worth the money.
Customer Review: Excellent BT Headset
I have had this headset for over two years and it works great!I recently bought another for my fiancee. It feels like you not wearing anything, yet it doesn't fall off. The sound clarity is excellent and eliminates alot of background noise.

BlueAnt V1 Voice-Controlled Bluetooth Headset (Silver)

BlueAnt's V1 is the world's first voice-controlled Bluetooth headset, allowing you to control most phone functions from the headset thanks to the integrated BlueGenie Voice Interface. Talk to it and it will reply, ask it for assistance and it will assist you in getting the right function. This amazingly small and lightweight headset eliminates the combinations of button pushes, button holds and flashing lights synonymous with advanced Bluetooth devices. One activation button provides you with total control of the V1's entire function menu system via an easy to use voice interface.

Control your phone's functions--including answering and making call--with the BlueAnt V1.
No longer will you have to deal with lengthy or confusing button pressing to access functionality on your cell phone. Instead, the V1 can be controlled with simple phrases like "pair headset," "call home," "volume up" and "accept call." And BlueGenie's voice synthesis capability enables the V1 to speak back to you, letting you know device settings including successful pairing of the headset, battery power level, and more. With voice dial and call answering capabilities, drivers can keep their hands on the steering wheel and eyes on the road.

The V1 also incorporates dual microphones allowing for BlueAnt's patented Voice Isolation Technology, a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) software solution that uses advanced techniques to separate the user's voice signal from all other sounds, enhancing and isolating all frequencies that affect voices coming into and out of the headset. This results in outstanding environmental noise reduction, echo cancellation and wind noise protection.

The BlueAnt V1 works with Bluetooth version 2.1 and its multi-point technology allows connecting two cell phones at the same time. Automatic reconnect also finds the last cell phone or device paired, and automatically reconnects. It includes several ear gels for an optimal in-ear fit, as well as an over-the-ear clip for added security. It also offers an innovative tie clip lets you attach the V1 headset to your shirt or cuff when not in use.

Features

  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • Multi-function car and desk charger
  • USB Charger
  • Up to 6 hrs talk-time or 200 hrs standby
  • 2 year replacement warranty
  • Weighs under 0.5 ounces
  • Measures 1.6 x 0.7 x 0.5 inches

Customer Review: Blueant Blue tooth headset
The range on the item we received was not any where near what the instructions claimed. We had some static but, when I contacted the blueant support people they were very helpful and then said they would send a new unit under warranty. So I will wait and see how that one works.
Customer Review: Great headset - just not fully compatible with 700p
Just been on the phone with BlueAnt and they swear my phone is the problem and I don't have the latest software (they're wrong - checked with Palm and Verizon on my 700p). Nothing like denial. You cannot, as far as I can tell, set the 700p to Speed Dial by number. You can assign the corresponding QWERTY letter (R=2, T=3), but the V1 doesn't recognize/interface this with the Palm. Thus, the Voice Control Speed dial doesn't work, other than for the preset Voicemail. I also cannot get the V1 to manually accept inbound calls (per the instruction manual) to the speed dial function since the Palm doesn't recognize the call as active until you answer, per customer support. I also cannot get the phone to answer by voice command, apparently due to the same issue. The caller ID doesn't always announce the number correctly either, even though it's showing on my phone correctly. Otherwise, the headset has excellent sound and reasonably comfortable fit. It can still be used by pushing the button on the headset, so I'll end up keeping it for sound and comfort in the event I upgrade to a different phone down the road where it's better compatible. Any Verizon 700p users that have better experiences please let me know your work-around. BlueAnt apparently can't help
